The initial Website was originally developed by Juliet Landa, in the winter of 1995-96, going live in spring 1996 when supporter Karen Rogers contributed Clarity Internet Services. Wendy Stanford and Geoff McQuilkin continued to develop the site throughout 1996. Its current structure started with the content from that site and was created in 1997 by Geoff McQuilkin, Greg Reis, and Mike Klapp. Since then, various sections have been refurbished as time allows. Mono Lake Live, one of our most popular sections, was introduced in early 1998, and Bartshe Miller rewrote the Natural History section in fall 1998.
